Expedition to Antarctica
from Ushuaia in Argentinian Tierra del Fuego

Discovering the magic of the white continent:

The expedition starts in Ushuaia, in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, with a first stopover in Puerto Williams, in Chile, on the other side of the Beagle Channel. From there we sail towards south to reach the Wollaston archipelago, near the famous Cape Horn, ideal for taking a good weather window for crossing the famous Drake Strait: there are some 500 nautical miles, which we will cross in 3 to 4 days of navigation, sometimes very rough in bad conditions, to land on the Antarctic Peninsula.

There we will have the privilege of meeting absolutely unique fauna in the magic of the ice universe of this very special region of our globe (penguins, leopard seals, whales and so on) and of discovering the truly enchanting landscapes of the white continent. An almost unreal harvest of images which will remain engraved forever deep in your soul.

Then we will sail back northwards with a new crossing, sometimes quite strong again, of the Drake Strait with the landing in the islands of Tierra del Fuego and the return to Ushuaia via the Beagle Channel.

These discovery expeditions to Antarctica are organized on 1 year in advance request
